I think the blood that rubbed off of him was the blood I was seeing in the shell.
He is not bleeding now.
It looks like his foot knicked a vein.

I bet if the dummy didn't knock the vein he would have hatched on his own.

I'm on the roof today. I wanted to paint the house. There was water damage to fix, which led to roof repairs, which led to ripping the entire roof off the addition and starting from scratch. I may get to paint sometime in August. I may also have a headstart on the beer y'all.

I just woke up and he was zooming around the bator so I moved him with his friends.
