But she misses me!

I just went out to give the roommate a ride to the train station, and when I got back she ran towards me. Her feet are huge and she's awkward on them, but she's getting much more active.

Beautiful scenery with the Rockies. Snow skiing one weekend & beach the next. Mountains take getting used to after living in the Mississippi mud plains for so long.

Fond memories but drastically different. Every place has it’s issue, but home is where you hang your hat.

this storm misses you......it’s current projected path is straight past you guys and ends with me!! we definitely don’t need more flooding and heavy rains! the first half 2019 we had rain/flooding 90% of weekends. We have been on boat 1x and jet ski 0!

I took out 8 that were quitters and moved fri and sun eggs to hatcher. I only had 6 out of 25 hatch so far. now on day 20. checking temp now....looks like it was on the high side maxing at 102. .......but with max of 102 still don’t see how that screwed up the hatch so bad

Not to change the subject here but @Texas Kiki , and others in the Houston area are you prepared for the storm. It's not suppose to hit Houston but Lake Charles is close enough y'all will get alot of rain.

Aw that’s awesome you and your brother are so close!! Although I’m sorry about your mom. And wow that sounds terrible! But I’m glad he recovered and in a way glad it happened at work so you could get the comp. and oh wow that must have been a lot of work. And oh wow that is so awful to lose everything twice!! Pot is legal here in MA too and we don’t have hurricanes or earthquakes and lately we’ve barely even had any snow or cold weather too. And we have humidity unlike out west. It’ll feel like home LOL

Besides, I was more talking about this specific place. I mean, no AC and forced to do all that stuff in the heat of the summer? And an LA summer at that. Only serving beans/starving? Forced to keep going even being sick. And just barging in/searching the house when they weren’t even there for her ? That’s part sounds illegal lol idk. People died in this program too I think she said, right? So I just mean this specific program sounds like torture/illegal. Not all of them. I guess some might not be so bad. But I’d probably quit or breakdown

The first guy had a heart attack thats what made the health screenings mandatory he had an underlying heart condition nobody knew about and kept on trucking til it killed him. The second guy i dont remember what happened, both were well before my time. They didnt serve beans Every day but often enough, they also served liver and giblets and if i wanted to not starve it was forced to be available to me, i jus wouldnt eat it, being finiky. I lived on one meal a day, breakfast and worked it off before noon. This one time a drill made me eat a slice of ham, he was sick of seeing me go without, right? I hadnt touched my tray and he thought i was tryn to Diet we had to run 100 yards back to the dorm everyday down three breezeways, after eating each meal, this time it was while he screamed at me that id better not sick it up crazy! I kept it down, but i was miserable, it kept tryn to come up. Yup it was illegal how they searched and i was too young and naive to know better, i told em where it was and went peacefully. Knew i was doin wrong breaking the law no matter how dumb the law is and its whatever. Shouldnt have been hanging round w that dude anyway, he was a trouble maker and i stayed for the second time before i got clear of him, my choices. No AC was part of the punishment of being in lockdown for the illegal transacting people were doing for the food and cigs. Theyd buy stamps and trade for food, got caught and punished the whole "company." They had AC at nightime when they shipped back to the womens prison til they messed up like that (again before my time.) Please remember dont pity me, i made my choices and yea it was tough, but thats the road i chose. Builds character thats why Kiki said it might be good for you. Also i could have walked away, i could have complained i was sick, seen a medic, taken bedrest and stayed longer.

If u want more fun stories i got a million. The first time i saw snow i was upstate, laid up waiting to go to the prison who offered the bootcamp. The worst fight i saw was up there. This gal found out her gf was talkn to some other girl? Big ole butch thing, scrawny lil cheater girlfrien. Waited to confront her til she caught her on our way the cafeteria with the gaurds on the other side the fence. they had to take 30 seconds to unlock it and scrawny cheater got the brakes beat off of her. Another time in the dorm, full on bubble pod full of gaurds in the middle the room, three gaurds couldnt pull this big ole black gal off of her nemesis. Ended up pepper spraying her and had to evacuate us all i was glad to be able to go play outside best way to pass time was playn cards, get a group of buddies together and play for "knees," the team who lost the first game in points had to kneel the whole time they were behind, on rocky concrete couldve stayed there cooking jailhouse "hookups," eatn good, but again i Chose impact, to go home early, in half the time. Those drills tried like hell to make me quit too, one time two of the most difficult drills and the tough lieutenant all 3 screaming at me that ima crybaby and if i cant take it theyll call my ride. They made me jump around for 2 hours i know cuz it was after class til lunch. The dudes in my platoon like begging me just give it up, stop torchering Myself tryn to come drive with me to help me stay strong. Nope. Kept on driving and they were sent back. Oh i was The Impact Seamstress. I got written up one time for "destruction of state property" at the womens prison. They called Impact to see how much $ to take off my books for the shirt i "destroyed?" The major told them no way! Dont punish that girl she may be taking apart that One messed up shirt but shes Fixed dozens of uniforms. They let it go but didnt give me back what i was working on cuz they were mad i was in the right after all. Fixed several drill instructors hat sweat bands and one social worker brought me two pair of pants to take up for her. Then i messed up of course. A girl i was friends with asked me to take in the side seams on that potato sack i was wearing in the picture so she looked cute like she had a shape. Drill found it, ripped out the seam while she wore the shirt, and drove us both like mad for an hr then left me to "bend and thrust" for another hour. Didnt do dat again. I counted like 170something of em(a burpie to any of u workout people.) That Hurt. Another time, drill caught me chatting w a guy in the program that i knew from the streets? Made me do squats All Day Long. i cant tell u how many, but if we werent running or marching i was squatting over and over and over... that also HURT. Messed my hips up in there pretty good. They usually messed w females as a mind game most of them quit but couldnt harp too harshly on our bodies or we would just break. Theyd give the guys hell physically couldnt mess w their minds or theyd break. They tried it all on me when they saw i was a mental brick wall after the crud id been thru on the sts. I still graduated.
