i would say first pipper probably quit after 36 hours. but good that others are starting to show progress! I assisted 2 this morning that pipped yesterday before i got home from work and membranes were really dry which is odd because I did not open incubator at all until this morning. 1 looked ok....the other has crook neck and curly toes so not sure if it will make it. (they were both yellers too!)Not yet, but one egg is very cracked. It may hatch before I leave for work in half an hour.
Edit: The first egg that I saw pipped was about 36 hours ago. No progress since. It's probably dead, isn't it?
2nd edit: When I left, the one I thought was hatching wasn't moving, but the one next to it was busy breaking its way out. I hope to have at least two more when I get home. I kind of wish I could take the day off, but it's finals week.
