That is an excellent idea!! Thank you!! I think part of the reason I have been so hesitant, besides just procrastination (I seriously put off everything ), is because I keep thinking I’m gonna have to work some crappy retail or fast food job I hate or something haha didn’t really think maybe there were animal ones. I’ve been thinking about applying to some of our pet stores though. That might not be so bad. That or the movies. Also there is a dog daycare that opened up literally down the street from my house in March. I’ve been thinking maybe I could see if they need any help haha we sort of know the owner

i’ve been trying to figure out these guys all day and i think they are sparkly chicks! sparkly are a jumbo/pansy cross....thus the stripey look with red mixed in!!

I can't decide which ones are my favorite.

Do you think I should stick with the original plan of working on my room or the job thing? I know technically long term the job thing is probably more important but my room really needs to get done. They haven’t been here in a while so they’re going to want to see everything aha

I actually am making pretty good progress I think. I finally sorted all my clothes yesterday and washed some of them. Still have a ton more to do. Probably had at least 3 baskets



I can actually type like super fast so this might be a good option haha

I was hoping to be able to work with animals eventually though.

What excuse did I make up this time? I genuinely didn’t think I made any? I just kinda think I should probably focus on/finish one task first since I normally never do haha although I guess I could do both. Idk. But my rooms are really bad so I honestly don’t think it’s possible to do both. It will genuinely take me all day, possibly multiple days, even actually working and not procrastinating or taking breaks. They’re that bad.

But tomorrow I will work my ass off in my room and then see what I have time for. Aha

Or actually if you prefer maybe I should look for some jobs first before even starting my room???

But tbh I haven’t really done like anything on it which I’m sure you already know so I really need to actually work on it tomorrow and finish it.

Yes. They are gross. I spend about 2 hrs/day cleaning and go through ridiculous quantities of fluff. They are getting their own shed soon.

You need to get online and apply for four jobs tomorrow. It won’t take long—way less time than hanging out here. After that, put on something nice and walk down to the doggie daycare and chat with the owner. Mention that you’re an animal lover and that if she ever needs to hire some help, that would be your dream job.

After this, wash all your dirty clothes, fold them, and put them away even if you have to stack them in cardboard boxes.

I guess so but it’s not like it’s some simple thing like only brushing my teeth and calling it a day or anything. It is a big multipart task. I mean, even just the laundry alone would take all day. I have like 3 or 4 full baskets worth, plus sorting through all the books, buying a bookcase, putting them in it, sorting through all the other stuff, organizing. And I gotta do that for at least 2 rooms. It’s a huge, monumental task. Not like there’s just a couple things on the floor haha it’s a lot of work and a lot of multipart tasks. Maybe most people could get it done in a couple hours, idk, but I’m slow at this stuff. But maybe I can try and see if I can.

So I have a bird I think may have mild/beginning Bumblefoot. I was going to soak her feet a bit then bandage with antibiotic ointment. Does this seem appropriate?

How does this look? I soaked in salt water then bandaged with antibiotic ointment. I tried to see if there was anything to express but it seems mostly swollen with a superficial scab. She is inside for the night and acting pretty content eating and what not.

Four!? That’s a lot. But okay, I’ll try it. Although doesn’t it take a while for each application? Won’t that be like a 4 hour task? With all that stupid personality test crap they all have now. And don’t I need a resume? Or is Turk right that I don’t need one nowadays? Cause I don’t have one yet. But I’ll do that.

And that’s a good idea. I’m normally super nervous and shy in person but I think I could handle it. Might need to drive there though. It’s close but not quite that close/dangerous walk. So is in person better/more meaningful than calling?

And okay. I’ll do that. Though honestly I think the clothes are the easiest part of this whole thing. I have sooooo many books, CDs, merch, etc. to sort through. That will be the hardest, most time consuming part.
