➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

I guess so but it’s not like it’s some simple thing like only brushing my teeth and calling it a day or anything. It is a big multipart task. I mean, even just the laundry alone would take all day. I have like 3 or 4 full baskets worth, plus sorting through all the books, buying a bookcase, putting them in it, sorting through all the other stuff, organizing. And I gotta do that for at least 2 rooms. It’s a huge, monumental task. Not like there’s just a couple things on the floor haha it’s a lot of work and a lot of multipart tasks. Maybe most people could get it done in a couple hours, idk, but I’m slow at this stuff. But maybe I can try and see if I can.
Laundry.
It takes one minute to fill the washer up and start it.
5 if you really take your time.
That's it.
You have a good 30 minutes to start on your room before you go put those clothes in the dryer and start the next load.
Back to room...40 more minutes to work on what ever.
Cut the room in 4 chunks.
Put tape down the middle fake line of the room if you have to.
Both ways.
Do one square at a time.

Four!? That’s a lot. But okay, I’ll try it. Although doesn’t it take a while for each application? Won’t that be like a 4 hour task? With all that stupid personality test crap they all have now. And don’t I need a resume? Or is Turk right that I don’t need one nowadays? Cause I don’t have one yet. But I’ll do that.

And that’s a good idea. I’m normally super nervous and shy in person but I think I could handle it. Might need to drive there though. It’s close but not quite that close/dangerous walk. So is in person better/more meaningful than calling?

And okay. I’ll do that. Though honestly I think the clothes are the easiest part of this whole thing. I have sooooo many books, CDs, merch, etc. to sort through. That will be the hardest, most time consuming part.
Boxes/bins.
Spend ten minutes finding ever damn book in your room and throw it in a box.
Don't stop until all books have been thrown in.

Don't read the books, don't skim through them, just pick them up and put them in the box.
All of them.
Close it.
Put a piece of tape on it and write books on the tape.
Your done.

Just do ALL of the books tomorrow so I don't die.
All of the books and all of the laundry.

Our washer and dryer take like a full hour each. But I could still follow the same principles I suppose. I will try this. Thank you.

Although that said, I know this is going to sound stupid or like an excuse, but my dad has ruined some of my clothes by putting them in the dryer too high or at all so I’m kind of hesitant about dryers. Usually we hang them up but I don’t have time to wait for that so I think I will try the dryer but so many of my clothes have gotten super small after going in.

Yeah, that’s the plan haha

Although that said...

Do you think I should stick with the original plan of working on my room or the job thing? I know technically long term the job thing is probably more important but my room really needs to get done. They haven’t been here in a while so they’re going to want to see everything aha
Is there any reason you can't do both? Most jobs are applied for online, so if you spend an hour working on your resume you should have plenty of time to do your room too.

Go.
Get offline.
Set a timer on your phone for 10 minutes.
Write tomorrow's to do list.
Then grab a book and go to bed.

Don't you make me lock this thread.

She likes to fart around on her phone...all day.
I'm going to break it one day for her.

That’s it!? I think I am making this more complicated than it needs to be. I was thinking I had to sort through them and/or put them on bookshelves or throw some away or something haha I do kinda wanna do that though. I want to start reading them ha

But I guess it might just be faster and easier to put them in boxes and be done with it.

Though I was kinda thinking books on bookshelves, everything else in boxes.

Also should I go get the books from the other room too? Cause those need to go somewhere too.

You don't have boxes?
Ok... Find all of the books and put them all on your bed.
Once you found every single book and you have it on your bed then you can go buy a box or five.

I just bought like 5 storage totes a few days ago haha although my mom stole one for my dad’s tools. But I can start with the other 4. They are huge.
