➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

When I was going to college, it took a minimum of 4 hours to drive the 120 miles from home to school. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to drive the 180 miles between Casper and Cheyenne, WY. While it is a longer distance, it is not filled with lots of stops and 30 mph speed limits like in the eastern U.S.

Oh wow that’s a long way! Although that said, if you go on the highways it’s not 30 mph speed limits lol it is in towns though definitely but highways are a lot faster and I never ever go long distances on little roads LOL

Also, my first college I went to was like 9, 10 hours away driving and I sometimes flew home instead haha flight was only like an hour and a half lol though of course it was an hour and a half to the airport (my uncle usually drove me) then an hour home from ours lol but still.

And my brother went to school in western MA and it was 3 hours away.

Really its not so bad to me but i couldnt survive in your cold. Id have to male the dh build heated tunnels to any coop :lau

So i guess im in for a long winter of covering and uncovering plastic eh?
I would not cover anything if I were you.

Guys I've asked this question in another thread but just in case, I'll post here as well. It is getting cold here and I keep
:bow My hat is off to you. I'd quit and move back up here within a week.
Move back north!? I wan't to move south! I would take 110F over -20F any day.

Idk, all four sides are open and it still rains when its 40*. We get alot of rain over here and it makes for a wet cold
40? Really? I cannot believe you are worried about quail in 40 degree weather. They will be fine. That is still far from freezing. That's sweater weather for me - and the quail have a natural sweater.

:sick:sick

No way!!

I refuse to take either!! LOL

Move to MA! It rarely gets above 90, usually only a few days mid 90s most of the summer, but usually 80s, and hardly ever gets to negatives in winter haha usually teens maybe is lowest.

I actually think we’ve gone up a zone or two on the garden zone thing lol

And not much snow lately. Some years we get tons, some years we get none.

If im out there for a hour securing tarps or plastic in the cold though all of u will hear how Bad my Bones hurt for the cold and i will bombard you with Kelsey style pics of every detail :old:plbb

Small, tiny detail, wear long pants and your jacket, if you can find it. If not, a couple of sweat shirts or something like that.

Oh, flip flops are out. Mud boots with socks should be OK. :plbb
