Quail getting into position to break out of the egg
Why is redhead on none of my lists. :barnie It's a thing. I know it's a thing. Apparently it hasn't been studied much.

Also @Texas Kiki we think your red-eyed girl might be a sex-linked cinnamon.
Wait a minute.
I was so sure this thing was male.
:barnie:barnie

You did! I actually have never kept many golden-types? Only a few? So I have to double check against pictures all of the time. When you said that I realized how odd his head was and when I double checked manchurians usually keep their little cheek stripes even if their heads are pretty solidly colored.

I am not that good at it!

I changed my mind again @Texas Kiki . I forgot there's two cinnamon genes. One sex-linked and one not. I do think she's one of the two but I do not know how to tell which is which :/
:barnie

It's a color/gene. Just not a very common or well described one. I am trying to cobble together the best info sources for them now.
So I don't call it a Pansy.
I call it a red head?

Going take more pics right now.

But which is "true"?! Ask him that. :gig Or we'll just tag him in their own thread soon with Kiki's one as the pic example.

I wouldnt understand even if i did ask him i am running on sleep deprivation. All this stuff exhasted my little brain yest. Still tryn to get half way right.

:lau

1. This redhead (pansy lookalike) thing is probably male.

2. The other one I was talking was the red-eyed scarlet-looking tuxedo thing you showed us the other day. I thought I remembered you saying it was a girl but maybe I made that up. That one might be a cinnamon or a sex-linked cinnamon.
