➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

New adventure!
Cleaning the cages and one gets out, flies off into the waiting maws of the puppy. Puppy catches and runs to the furtherest reaches of the yard with me screaming the whole time. I get out of the enclosure, and the puppy takes off.

Quail runs to the fence, hiding in the grass. She appears fine. I'll find out in a couple days if the trauma gets her. Puppy was just playing and hasn't figured out how to kill yet. I don't want her to learn either. We had a squirrel killer that would shake them as soon as she was close enough. Good Prissy. Another stray that found a home with us.

Morals of the story:
Don't put quail in a bucket and expect them to stay. These were particularly flighty today. We will see if they all live.

Know your limits. Don't have to transport all 6 quail at the same time. Take a couple and repeat. At one point, I had 4 of the 6 quail free in the world. All 6 in new home. Waiting to see if everyone is OK. And I ripped my crab net on the fence.

In summary:
:he:barnie:he
I move them one at a time and only with a helper...to open and close doors.

started in on C++ once. Gave up

I would too lol

Yep. Google might not get it right with all of the misspellings.

SQL - Structured Query Language.

I wouldn't call Quebecois French... That's like calling Ebonics English (okay, maybe not that bad, but think way north Scottish compared to our English)

It came pretty close surprisingly lol

Still don’t know what that is :lau

And ahh okay. Makes sense. Thanks.

gimme an hour, they'll wear off, lol.
