I hatched 24.
4 are now gone.
I think I have 17 makes and 3 females.

Theres no way man- each of these males are giving u foam?

No girl...I haven't checked that way yet. I think they are too young for foam checks still.

they all look good so far.....have all been released into the aviary! my little scarlet tux stays hidden under the pink house most of the time. they all survived the first night below 50*.....im having a little issue with my male melanistic scalping some of my quail hens though (posted in a new thread) DH fed for me this morning and had to butcher 1 because it’s neck was broken......i moved a second one into grow-out cage tonight with a couple buddies for warmth. Hoping he calms down and leaves the girls alone but if not I will have to figure out how to separate him.

The problem with raising multiple kinds of birds together is the imprinting causes them to lose the ability to understand that the other species are not the same as they are. This can get very harmful when the males from a larger species decide they should breed the females from a smaller species.

yes i’ve already seen that with my chicken roo.....I thought with the pheasants and chukars that I would have until next spring to separate if necessary but i guess it’s same as other birds....the males mature and hormones start raging before the females are ready to breed!
