➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

I don't even want to start thinking why do the male birds crow... I know the male quail cried a lot when he lost his first wife and recently the second... He really did cry LOUD.
He was complaining.

My little fake dog is a constant complainer. He's lucky I don't eat dog meat.

3am here... I checked up the eggs. I have two hatched. The rest have pipped but no zip yet. 24 hours now. I don't want to end up again with so many pips, no zips, so I'll open the incubator as soon as I get back from work tomorrow... today.
Oh Kiki.. no h.pylori, praise God! I am sure I can live a whole life here on earth antibiotic-free.

Congratulations! That's great news.

I'm calling my hatch. I had 20 fertile eggs, 13 hatched. 5/6 jumbos, 8/14 mixed batch.

Edit: I'm thrilled that this time I had no curled toes. All of the chicks appear to be healthy!
What did you do differently this time?

@Texas Kiki .....i did a random check on the littles tonight....my little (feather-sexable) male is still showing a clear protrusion on vent area typical of males and one of my pastels does not have protrusion on vent so guessing female!! start looking at your pansies first that you already know for sure to familiarize yourself with the difference in vent area.....then check your feather-sexable littles first and finally compare to the unknowns.....may not be 100% at first but should give you a better idea and is good practice!!
