I do!

Though not always
But exactly!! That’s a big part of it!! No one uses their signals, everyone cuts everyone off, rolls through stop signs, etc. Massholes!!!

Very nice! I think I have one of those picture frames! Lol. I had to put a bunch of my chicks in the pens I had prepared. I had a dog/chick problem that I'm working on.Here, thru my window, is the one I made.
My ghetto picture frame doors are pretty anymore because I used to have this cage out in the weather/rain.
It's under a covered patio now.View attachment 1934933

Excellent idea!! Maybe I should give my chickens some peat moss...
Been thinking of giving them a dust bathing section. They dust bathe in the run but I’d like to make them a designated area and make it a bit cleaner ha thinking maybe a sand, peat moss, wood ash mix.
My little chickens that have been orphaned by their moms tend to get out over the mesh wire & through the welded wire. They think all dogs are created equal & they definitely are not. I'm gonna hafta make a small coop with all mesh wire just for my juveniles. My dogs will eat my birds in a heartbeat.
I have to make sure my cages are dog proof.
They have worked so far.
I've been using ash & diatomaceous earth for the chickens, I have sand for the quail, is it okay to use DE for the quail too, anyone know? I'm gonna get some peat as well, very absorbent I'd think too.

definitely a falb feeView attachment 1934706 So now that it is older what would you say this little guy is
I used my DE to cover up wounds on a white chicken that got snatched by the dogs & rescued by me. I applied Desitin & then dusted her with DE, not a single chicken or chick picked on/at her.I was gonna use DE too and used to use tons of it in the coop and run but I don’t wanna kill the bugs in the run so idk. When I was using it it was pretty sterile in there.
And I think it should be fine but idk.
It is pretty dusty though and I read can be bad for their lungs? Which is why I stopped using it but I still sometimes put a little bit in the nest boxes. And I think a little bit would probably be fine but idk.
We should have plenty of wood ash soon with all the fires we will be having.![]()
Understood. It will be used only for emergency camouflage.No.
Throw the DE away stat. It's trash.
