➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Anyone (@Texas Kiki?) have pictures of a fertile egg candled on day 1 or 2 of incubation? Really curious to see if any of the eggs I have going now are developing, but it's a little too early for clear veins (at least not without my glasses! :D)
Day two:
You may not be able to see in this photo.
Look at you egg along where the air cell would be. That is usually where the first signs of pink vein life is.

Pic is fuzzy but doesn't look like it has a beard, as defined. Looks more like a few of the feathers just grew slightly askewed?...sorta like the feathers on the back of it's head looks! :idunno
the feathers on his head look to be from mating related fights.....but yes after further inspection the “beard” is more a few feathers that become really prominent when he is “alert” and or crowing.....so probably doesn’t qualify as an actual beard......just different from any of the others ive observed

Check for a dot moving when you rotate the egg while candling it. I noticed it is harder to see the dot in quail eggs then chicken eggs. Its best to whate till day 3 for blood vens.

You can tell by the dot moving?

I need to try this...I have never seen this yet.
