It just went in a little. My husband took a chunk of skin and other parts off his knee with a chainsaw. The scar is rugged looking, he was a kid and stitched it up himself because he was the kid his aunt relied on to do all the house chores and outdoor work.
I know a family in which one of the boys put a nail from a nail gun in between his kneecap and his leg. He pulled it out himself.

Nope, never have had chinchilla's nor have I heard them squeal but that hissing sound made the hair stand up on the back of my neck, the first time I heard it, at 3am. :lau
If there somehow was a real intruder here, I'd never notice it. I'd probably just throw something in the direction of the sound to shut it up and then go back to sleep, assuming it was an animal.

You couldn't pay me to use rubbing alcohol on a wound.
Now that I'm thinking about it, I think I remember putting antibiotic ointment and a bandaid on a cut that was starting to look yellow and a bit swollen. That's the most I've needed to do, though.

Yeah, I’ve read both are bad and read lots of comparisons in which is better, lots of NEVER use X but then someone else will say to never use the other one haha

I usually just use it once or twice to sanitize it. They say you’re not supposed to use antibiotic ointment much either.

And that’s good you recognized when it was getting infected and acted lol

I still say that requires care lol I get a lot of scrapes and scratches working with dogs/being around dogs so much and I always wash them right away even when I’m still over there ha who knows where those claws have been!?
I figure that wherever those claws have been, so have I, most likely.

I wouldn’t! I would freak out!

I’m a bit paranoid and on edge lately though and always like spin around and look everywhere/behind me and back into my room and stuff hah and scared of the dark

OMG!!! I think my mother would have freaked out and rushed me to the hospital lol

I cut myself on a chainsaw once too! It 'kicked back' on me and ripped out a chuck of my left knee cap.
