My guineas talk non-stop when they are awake but their chatter is soft and melodic. Their periods of of loud alerts are seldom. Outside of when they were young and breeding season, the buckwheat call is also seldom.
 
We only have 4 guinea hens. I just heard the ducks get started, followed by the guineas, and then the quail. It's like a chain reaction. Sometimes the goats & dogs start in as well!
When my beagle bays inside the house, the ducks get going.
 
It was big. I'm scared of spiders :oops:
You wouldn't like my house then! We have spiders that get humongous! We just had a orb Weaver that was huge, we had to relocate it before the chickens got it.

My husband relocates spiders that he finds in the warehouse at his work because people like killing them. Most of them are black widows. He has amazing pics of them!
