➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

I have wayyyyyy too many books. :lau

real books haha

Most I’ve never even read.

I get them thinking I will and meaning I and don’t.
How many do you consider to be too many? I have about 4,000. I have a room that is my library, but my computer room has a lot of shelves full too. I have too many that don't fit on shelves.

They should all get sick each time they eat a dog.
That's too gross to me.
They should eat cats instead.
Ever hear of roof rabbit? I believe it was commonly served during the French revolution.

That's what I do! I hate MEANIES! They will die, I don't even care!!!
That's how I ended up with bacon wrapped, oven barbeque'd quail for Christmas dinner. She volunteered. As soon as I saw her seriously pecking at all of the younger birds I grabbed her and put her in the sink while I got the shears out.

:droolExactly!
:highfive:

Oh, and there is no such thing as "too many books", just saying.:pop

Moon shot! Did NOT need that for breakfast. This is a family friendly place. :lau

I'm getting 1 quail egg a day from set #2. One (?) of those girls never stopped. May be saying thank you for taking a male out. On the other hand, the male that stayed wore the back feathers off all 3 of the girls very quickly with no extra lights. Something is going on there.

During warm weather, after one week, the chicks go outside. 7 to 9 weeks later to butcher. Worked well when I wasn't separating eggs by set for replacements. Thinking I'll need to start replacements in early spring. February? This conflicts with meat chickens. I have some mulling to do.
