LOL They’re little escape artists. I assume you have a screened lid for that. It is both hilarious and worrisome to come in and find them wandering around on the floor, distraught at not knowing how to get back in.

I do have a cover for the quail tote, she flew out the other day when she got to feeling better. I'll get wire put on a lid for the poults tomorrow. They're little stinkers I see.

Hatch is complete and I will have to double check but I think final count was 8 I will count when I get home and let you know

@Kiki final count was 9 but I did have one die and another has blood on his beak from something a day old and their already trying to kill each other I guess

Are you able to watch them closly gor a while to see who's being an ahole?

These are are what is left of my third hatch (out of 8, one got away, one got eaten, both of those were hens). All six were so quiet and got along with each other so well that I thought they were all hens.

The first picture is Goliath, all grown up. I think she's a hen, but I'm not sure.
The second is a pretty lacy looking creature (German Pastel?) that I also think is a hen.
Third picture has the other three, the speckled one and the two red ones. I thought these were all hens too, but in the last two days I've caught the light red one crowing. He's probably going to get... removed... this weekend.

Ignore the ones in the background of the third picture. They're from the SSC hatch.
