I have a jar of pickled beets that I'm about to finish.
I'm going to drop a few quail eggs in it to see what happens.

The longer you leave them in the pickling juice, the redder they will get and the tougher the white will get. I like to drizzle a little of the pickling juice on the yolk when I eat the beet pickled eggs.
