Hello! I just putt my eggs in this morning!! So exited!!!
welcome!!! is this your first hatch? where did you get the eggs? new incubator or are you already familiar with it?

Yes, it's my first batch of quail eggs. I got them online at strombergs or somthing. It's a new incubator too. Seems to be working great except I'm a little nervous for when they hatch and are on that plastic mesh thing. Idk how small their feet are so they might fall between the squares or something. Any suggestions? Thanks!:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy

we typically cover with grippy shelf liner.....$1/roll at dollar store....did you check with calibrated thermometers and salt-tested hygrometers?

I did check the temp. on spot. Just wondering, what about a layer of paper towels?
I've used paper towels for my first four hatches. This time I have the grippy shelf liner, so I'm going to see how that works out.
