I thought people wouldn’t want little babies they have to feed for a while or heat?? They’re off heat now but I’ll be turning it back on when they go out temporarily as it’s really cold out there.

I thought would be easier older since they would be more mature/grown up/ready to join a flock and handsome instead of ugly teens?

They are not near big enough to breed or eat or anything yet. Do people really want little teeny cockerel chicks!?

I was going to just for a night or two because it’s been in like the teens and twenties at night lightly and they are going from a at least 50 or 60 degree possibly warmer basement... that’s cruel to me even if they are technically fully feathered haha

Besides, it’s not really heat, just the brooder heat plate which they probably don’t even fit under anyway and probably won’t even use. But I just thought I’d offer it in case. They’ll probably just decide to roost

But honestly I might just wait until it’s a little bit warmer.
