I took my turner out this morning so the countdown clock is officially running!!
at the same time i’m not a happy camper as school is closed today because of just a dusting of snow!! my poor mini waited at the bus stop for 20 minutes and I could’ve slept in!!!

Oh no!! They don’t announce it the might before? We used to sit up and wait for our school to run across the bottom of the TV LOL

I took my turner out yesterday but what I forgot to do was adjust the temperature.
My turner adds one or two or three degrees to the incubator.

I still have not adjusted the temperature.
I do not think I'm going to either.
Doing an experiment I hope I am not ruining my pansy fee eggs.

I am playing with fire.

Don’t ruin them!! Experiment with some homegrowns!! Then again temp matters less towards the end, right? But still. Not the good eggs!

Just my "To Do" List....

My DH only gets 1 day/night home each week so I can't slam him with chores. He really just wants to sleep & eat when he's home.

My chore list isn't urgent that's why I can keep postponing them.


I hatched my Bobs out, 12 out of 18 eggs by using pretty much your parameters. All my hatches since with chickens, guinea, quail & turkey have been dry up till lockdown, then I up the humidity and my hatches have been approx 85~90%.

I'd keep doing what you're doing, if your hatch rates are that good why change now?

And that makes sense. I guess if I made a list/really thought about it, I’d have tons to do too, but then again I think it would annoy me having a bunch of undone stuff haha at least seeing it in list form cause clearly I have no problems now hah

the text came to my phone @5:27am.....i didn’t check it when i got up at 6:15 because i didn’t see it as a remote possibility as in my opinion it shouldn’t have been a possibility....i don’t think temps even went below freezing last night!

so i just ran the dates and looks like my timing is nearly perfect! this batch is due to hatch Sunday-Tuesday, next batch will go in by Friday to hatch around 3/1 which is same time as next litter of bunnies is due! once these are around 1 week i can move tuxes to aviary and put these in the shed!! just NO more can be set until middle of March!!
