no hurry.....i’ve grown them out to butcher size more severe than than.....see how it does in the brooder

That both just hatched sometime within the last hour.

I'll give him a day or two to see if he eats ok.

Turn off the light in the room? I have one little in the incubator and the other three ext pipped. I also draped it with a light jacket (excluding the vent) and it’s sleeping peacefully now. The bator was running cool anyway, so maybe it wasn’t the light but the temp, or maybe both, but it calmed down right away.

Curly toes crawled under the paper towels and died last night.
The buddy that was under the towels on the other side survived.

I turned off the light and left the ceramic heater on. Guess they didn't like the darkness and got chilled. Other 3 were bopping around fine and dandy. C'est la vie.

Collected 2 eggs from Set1 yesterday and waiting on Set1 eggs from today. Still 27 eggs waiting. Looks like we will have 29 eggs to set. Only half are fertile, I'm sure of it.
