4/10 remaining eggs hatched so far today! i opened and ditched 1 for sure late quitter and “assisted” 1 of the 4 during my check and brooder transfer. will give the other 5 a bit longer before calling it since my next batch of eggs took a detour! tracking updates state that they moved from st. louis through indy, and through louisville today. so based on that, they should be delivered tomorrow! a lot of extra miles for a 2 hour distance!

Okay, I checked the last "maybe" egg, no movement, the egg looked full. I poked a hole in the top, and it was goo, so dead.

it was pipped and starting to zip but membrane was really thick and dry so i finished the zip and let it complete the hatch....it’s screaming and half fluffed but i haven’t examined closely for curly toes or any other problems yet

the late quitter looked to be malpositioned and unable to internally pip....it was fully formed but head was curled under into pointy end of the egg
