yes they finished hatching yesterday....19 little fluffies......i just finished cleaning temporary brooder.....hopefully i can change the bulb and move them to shed brooder Sunday.....we got a flooded arctic blast until then

DH learned of the new batch of eggs today when they were delivered to the office.....he wasn’t happy I reminded him that he got a valentine’s gift and that my eggs didn’t cost near as much as his gift (and it’s the color I don’t “officially” have yet!!). The rest of my valentine’s gift is now mulch for the aviary!!

oh i forgot to mention that one of my pf eggs is a celedon!!

Awww I bet they’re cute!!! And the cold is supposed to here tomorrow too and I have to do all the dogs again

Little splay leg didn't make it. I took him out of the jar pretty quickly because it was just laying at the bottom of it.

@Kiki hatch is done last eggs were early quitters or clears had two clears and the rest were early quitters I didn’t candle near as much as usual that why I didn’t catch those

I'm gonna kill me some big Toms tomorrow and cut into the feed bill... unless it's windpocalypse. (As kind of threatened, I see.) If so, then Saturday. Saturday it's supposed to be a west wind and I'll have a big wall to the west of me.
