This hatch of mine is having several hatchers that aren't closed on the bellies... I've lost 1 that bled out from its belly when it came free of the egg. 1 drowned by pipping on the bottom of a leaky egg...

That's kinda hot.

Yeah. That was just after I moved them from the bator so I let the temp in the brooder drop from 99 to 95 over the course of an hour so it wouldn't be a shock to the chicks.

The one of mine that passed a few hours ago also had a slightly open belly! Just a small amount but it was the only one..

What are you keeping your humidity at?

It's about 60 until they start hatching then it climbs to 70ish....
Fyi: just for lockdown. It's at 30% during incubation.
