➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

If the power is only off for a couple of hours, the hatch should be fine.
Maybe not. Can you wrap it in towels or something to try to reduce the heat loss?
I hope so. I have them in front of the fireplace now with a blanket wrapped around the whole incubator, temp seems to be staying around 92-93. I don’t like this one bit :barnie

Aaaaaand the power’s out. Temp is already dropping in my incubator. The quail are at day 12, power isn’t coming back on for at least an hour. Is this going to doom this hatch?
It will be fine.
Don't worry.

Why?! Why did I let this customer take some of my breeder girls? Three of them were ones that I wanted to replace soon anyways (and I told them they were about 8 months old), and one was a colour that I didn't really care about, but now I need to wait for more chicks to hatch to replace them.

Then again, they bought 8 birds and paid me extra for the breeding girls, knowing full well that the rest of the ones they bought were probably boys (and one is definitely a boy).

Well, since the customer who just left wants four more hens, I have another customer who wants more of my pretty hens, and I need four hens, guess what that means? As soon as my current hatch is done, I'm starting another.
You go girl! That will teach them! I can't believe the nerve of some people!

They’re so cute! :wee
