The first time I introduced him to a chick, he almost bit its head off. He didn’t try again, but I cannot trust him, that’s for sure!!

I got my MyShire White Jumbos today. One was broken on top. I'll probably put them in tonight, so I'll record my numbers in later. I'll be putting a couple of my Wild Jumbo eggs in too.

Yep, the 1.75 L is unopened as are the Southern Comfort and Wild Turkey. The 750 ml bottle is still half full as is the Christian Brother's Brandy. The Potter's Vodka is really low and I have been out of RUM for years.

My 1.75L Wild Turkey is unopened as well as my 750ml of Rebecca Creek. Haven't touched my Gray Goose nor my Silver Tequila since I last made Puerco pibil!

The the death count is up to 9 as of today. Still have 11 in the brooder that look happy and healthy. It really seems like the heat plate and ambient room temperature just didn’t keep them warm enough. My best guess is they spent so much time trying to get warm they didn’t get enough food and water and it spiraled from there. I feel like a dolt (this isn’t my first hatch after all) but at least it was something I can fix.
Pretty sure this hasn’t helped things.

Hey, you've got green grass. I'll trade... Don't beat yourself up--you can only do what you know to do. The cold does throw a monkey wrench into things, doesn't it?

I am going to get quail soon... as soon as my current batch of chicken eggs finish hatching! do you all have any tips for incubating quail eggs or raising them?
