➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

I hope you get it to work but just how many times are you going to try?
I'm starting to feel bad for all the ones that have died.
I need to figure out what went wrong. It's obviously possible to do it, but I'm not sure if it was outside influences. After all a lot of eggs also die in incubators. OG Boobegg I firmly believe would have made it if not for the accident. Of the second batch, many were infertile, two pipped but had deeply infected yolks, and the third I think I was too late to assist. With these, the moment they pip I'll poke a tiny breathing hole so at least they don't suffocate.

Do you not understand that your boob doesn't hold a steady temp?

Boobs sweat...bacteria grows.
It's not good place, imo.

I guess we will see, won't we? Because the last time I tried hatching eggs in an incubator, out of 17 eggs, NONE hatched. Only one made it partway through incubation then died. My boob babies have been developing right on track, the quail even pipped. And I'm 99% sure the chicken would have hatched if not for what happened.

I don't understand wth is going on 🙈 I think I'm missing something honestly or I just don't see how this would even work.
I'm not following the thread but I have an idea of what's going on.
They have been trying to incubate different eggs in a bra or something similar.
They all die... But they're not understanding why they're dying.

Did you have calibrated thermometers in your incubator and was your humidity gauge salt tested?

The method has been used successfully in the past.

Yes, and yes. Eggs were manually turned three times daily, temperature checked with an analog thermometer, a digital hygrometer and also an infrared gun.
I would say that it's your breeding stock then. They are not laying good enough eggs to be incubated especially if you can't get them to hatch in an incubator.
