OMG!!!! Meanwhile we had a poop ton of flowers blooming all over the yard. We had like a whole field of them in the bowl and they were super pretty but my dad mowed them down yesterday. so didn’t get a picture.

"Jealousy" does not even begin to describe my reaction to that beautiful enclosure.

It’s just a matter of imagination, a little bit of $$ (you’d be surprised at total spent), some blood, sweat, tears, and of course the learning curve that includes loss of birds!!!!

I am not sure what you have there. The situation I refer to, the eye actually bulges out. Yours looks like an infected sinus.

I agree @R2elk , it could possibly be MG!
Mycoplasma gallisepticum, or "bulgy eye". It can be transmitted upward via the egg. I don't know how long it would take after hatching that it would be apparent in the chick, though?

Not too much in the overall scheme of things.....I “wasted” some in the beginning by trying to go on the cheap.....but all in total including plants, mulch etc I have 1500-2000 or less total investment......a “small” part of the total property investment
