➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Hard to get perfection when they drop kick your packages or whatever they do to them.
Think he was joking lol but for real, they seem to treat packages worse if they’re labeled fragile!!! 🙄

The one that didn’t hatch was dead so I couldn’t help it.
You did a great job!!

I’m waiting till Wednesday because after that it’s 60s at night. Still have work to do. We just got home so I don’t think we will be working on the aviary.
i’ve put 3 week olds out several times and overall they do fine.....they just need shelter from wind/rain/flooding mainly once overnight temps are in the 50’s and 60’s. my finch babies are all coming out of the nest now and doing fine and the adult buttons have all done well with the coop heater available on nights that have fallen below 50*

I know they were lol. I honestly think packages from texas are the worse ones. Every time I get packages from Texas they are always messed up.
Oh okay that’s good lol sorry 🙈

And I’ve never gotten packages from Texas but according to @Kiki Texas people or at least Houston people are crazy so makes sense 😂🤣🙈

Look what I just got! They're going into the incubator tonight.

that’s amazing!!! great job!!
I had to assist a couple. Ones leg came out before anything else and it was stuck. Another made a huge hole and couldn’t turn for some reason to zip.

I’m very happy with what they look like.

I have 43 from a local breeder I just put in on Saturday so I’m excited for those ones. They have a mixed cage of colors so I could get a ton of different things.

Think I'm keeping the snowy from the last hatch. I’ll keep 3 from Myshire scarlet range and 3 from the local breeder. I have a 6 ft x 6 ft aviary, it’s not huge like yours, but I can always add on later.

Oh wow you’re not keeping very many! If it was me I would want to keep all of them 😂🤣🙈
