Day 17 and I have the first pip!

Quail number 2 getting ready to pip in its egg this coming weekend! Hoping I just have a extremely staggered hatch and the others start showing signs of life

@Kiki Just candled 10 of the post office abuse survivors, all of them were fertile and developing! Looks like it might still be a great hatch

Were there only 10 surviving eggs? Oh my.

I saw a dark speck in one of my celadon eggs, no veins just a speck. could this bee a blood spot?

I just got them like last week I think??? I just set them at like 4am on the 17th so I think it’s day like 4 or 5 now??? I actually ordered them a few weeks ago but they took 3 weeks to ship because of the back order. but I don’t mind. I got them from Myshire. 30 of the feather sexable pack thingie. One had a hole in it and most of the others seem to be developing pretty well but I think I have at least one clear. Need to check again.

All good I think I found the problem.my 2 year old son might of accidentally thrown something in the brooder the other day.and hit one of the quails. Cos I noticed one side of its back joint to its leg looks bigger than the other. So could be bruised or broken

@Kiki update on quail eggs 6 out of 44 were infertile and 3 of those were celadons
