Were there only 10 surviving eggs? Oh my.

There are 22 in the bator, I only had time to candle a row of them last night. I’ll have to check on the rest soon!

My 40 assorted eggs should be hatching the 26th. All of them look really good. I’ll be moving them into the hatching bator after the ducks are done hatching.

Guys! I got my first egg! Birds hatched Easter and the following two days so they are just under 6 weeks. I am so excited! Hopefully I will have some fertile eggs here in a week or two to incubate again.

update pic of marvel quad.....I moved them to smaller brooder for now on grippy over wire because Loki especially has really bad poopy balls on his feet from standing in the feeder! Now I’m going to have to do a pheasant foot spa day!
