It’s light but there is variation to Rosetta as well.....I have different shades

I can't wait too see how many lay the blue eggs. Are you keeping all of these?

I'm going to keep 10, I think. I'm not planning on selling any hens until I know if they lay blue or not, and I'm only keeping hens that lay blue.

Will they lay solid blue? One of mine lays blue with a few speckles. Looks awesome.

There are a few speckles, but they're tiny. I have one blue layer now and another hen that hatched out of a celadon egg back in October.

Most if mine didn't have speckles. They definitely probably won't have huge blotches

Today's egg is almost completely without speckles. It's a beautiful aqua colour that the picture doesn't do justice to.
