It FINALLY HAPPENED! two eggs this morning! Pretty sure from Beezer and Cricket cause they're the fattest/largest. Hopefully either Tiny or Goose will start laying, and one will prove male to make a breeding flock

Um. If the hens are laying eggs, the roosters should be crowing. If no one is crowing, my guess is you either have all hens or a late maturing male.It FINALLY HAPPENED! two eggs this morning! The gold one looks like a hen, the other three aren't color sexable. You could try to vent sex, or just watch them for a couple hours to see if any act like boys. Or just wait to see if you get 4 eggs.It FINALLY HAPPENED! two eggs this morning! Pretty sure from Beezer and Cricket cause they're the fattest/largest. Very cute!Welp pretty sure they're all girls unless goose turns out to be a very un-driven male. After finding two yesterday I opened the loft this morning and came back to find cricket in the aviary....WHITH A BUNCH OF EGGS! apparently they've been laying way towards the back where I never look!!! So I decided to try and make a 'nest' in the loft to convince them to lay in one spot. They love it. It's extremely entertaining to them and both Beezer and Tiny wanted to sit in it. Based on behavior plus knowing Beezer and Cricket are for sure laying & Tiny wanting to brood the egg stash, my only possible male is now Goose I think we'll have have all hens. (Dang you Quilliam, why you have to go die on me boy!?) Beezer and Tiny say they'd like the nest more if Goose and Cricket would keep their fat butts away while they're sitting....
