My turkeys do a better job on snakes than my guineas do. Neither can keep things out of areas that they do not have access to.

Maybe we should all get Roadrunners. They like snakes. Secretary birds for the win though.

Agree. If they don't have full access, there will be issues. Brother just lost a brood under a hen to a snake, we think. He didn't catch it.

Here’s a pic of the late Tiger Millionaire’s chick. This is the only Tiger clone that is definitely celadon, there’s 2 others from the project pen that look like him, but are grandkids, and I can’t be sure they’re celadons unless they’re hens laying blue eggs, so I’m hoping this one is male. This one is one of the 6 chicks brooded and raised by my broody Mihawk, and the snowie brother started crowing yesterday, hopefully I’ll know the gender of Tiger Jr soon. This ones really lovely, my Tibetan hen with white patches on her back has progressive pied, so maybe this one will too, I’ll find out next molt.

I set a few quail eggs 5 days ago, after the females started laying for 3 weeks. Some are on day 2, 3, or 4, which i will be manually turning when the turner stops. I only candled the eggs on day 4. Yesterdays candling showed 100% fertility, with one egg that looked dead to me, looking for opinions...?

I think those 10 are all ok. If they're too dark to tell l I leave them in.

Okay, help with the color of this little dude! @Nabiki what would you guess? Do you have Grau Fee Celadons? That’s the closest I could come to guessing…or is it a rosetta with some leakage of some sort?? So pretty!

Looking at the pictures, I'm actually guessing that both are hens. I'm still not perfect at guessing, but I've circled the crescent pattern on the cheeks that usually means "hen" to me.

I will have to check some of mine for that!!! Most of my boys like that have really brown heads…..my one “special” little hen (Frieda) tried to jump into my arms today after I called her by name!!!! It was soooo cute!!!!

Definitely looks Grau fee and yes I believe @Nabiki has some celadon grau fee

I candled my uncollected quail eggs and 6 appeared to be developing but I put them all in the incubator anyway
