They are hilarious when they are just learning to hop. We had one that only knew how to hop backwards for a few days.Mama will return just to feed them... they will be on their own the rest of the time. Someone else said 'rabbits are minimalist parents', well said.

We have a video too, so cute the littles kicking their legs in delight as they nurse.
Makes me want to get one for myself. Too bad they grow up and I won't have room for one.
HAM radio is text now?
When I was a kid, Grandpa had a HAM radio set up in the basement that he built himself. It was on a table about 8’ long, with tubes and wires and dials everywhere. He could talk to people all over the country with it.
Unfortunately he passed before I was old enough to realize how neat it would have been to have him teach me.![]()
I'm confused as to what you type? Stories? Codes? It's not too late to learn! I'm going to be 65 years old next week. I got my license in March and upgraded to General on Sunday. Go on line to Kindle and download the ARRL Technician Manual and start reading! Look up your local club. HAMMIES are worse than chicken people when it comes to wanting to help one another and will welcome you with open arms.
Yes, The technology has advanced in leaps and bounds. It is an exciting time to be in the hobby.
Make your grampa proud!
A couple year ago, my dog also found a bunny nest right under my plum tree. He just kinda noodled them. My dad's German Shepherd was around so I put a clothes basket over the nest during the day and removed it night so the mother could come and feed them. He must've snuck down at night because the next day, they were all gone, but one and it had blood all over it. I thought he was a goner, then I realized that it was not his blood! I put him back, covered him up and he was there every day for a few weeks. Rabbits are kinda weird. They don't care if there is human scent on their babies, they come every night and feed them, then leave again. Peter (because of course I named him Peter) would come out and see me whenever I came down. I'd feed him clover and lettuce. He'd hang out and then head back into the burrow when I left. One day, he was gone. I like to think he was old enough to make it on his own and moved out of the nest.Since there are a bunch of you here, I need advice on a bunny emergency. My dog was very excited and I went to see what was up. She had a bunny in the grass. It was alive. I have no idea if she played with it or anything, no blood, it can move, not well, but this could just be because it's sooo little. We decided to wait a few hours and see if it was ok or not or strong enough to be on its own or not or if a mama came back or not. I got to thinking, rabbits don't just have one bunny. Well, found the nest a few feet away and there are at least 4 of them, maybe more, all alive and little and weak. The mama may very well be dead (gardening neighbor with pellet gun). I typically view rabbits as pests, but they are helpless babies. Had it been just the one the dog had I'd say no way it's gonna survive, may have internal injuries, mama will never find it, and I have to do the mercy kill, but it's a whole nest of babies! What to do???!
My husband is still trying to figure out if my biting is an act of love or moodiness. I’m not sure myself most of the time.So....we took the woodpecker out for above photo shoot.
He tries to bite me. I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry.
Does that mean he loves me?

What do you think?
Leave them and watch them for a day. If you still feel that the mom is dead then call a wildlife rescue.Since there are a bunch of you here, I need advice on a bunny emergency.
