I'm confused as to what you type? Stories? Codes?

We are using a new system called FT8. Basically we transmit our call numbers, our location via a grid map, our signal strength, etc and other users pick up our transmission and respond with their own information. Each response is called a contact which we log and collect. People try to collect responses from every country, every state, every grid. It can get pretty silly hearing people say. Oh Oh! I Got BOLIVIA today! Can you believe that! My husband has gotten contacts in Europe. Me, I'm still working US contacts as I'm just learning the process.

There are different types of digital communication however where you can talk to a contact the same way I'm talking right now....letting their fingers do the talking so to speak.
