I can imagine it working look at the first incubators prob not as good a kiki's is for a slap dash "ghetto" incubator lol

Definetly nice to have. You never know when you will get the itch to incubate.They can also be used to keep grilled cheese sandwich warm.

Just woke and went to go check on the eggs. I Bout pooped my pants when I noticed the room was pitch black!!!

The light bulb burnt out!!

Wake up Kiki...the thermostat was just working. Phew.


Back to sleep. I'll read all these pages I am behind in the morning when I wake for the day.

lol The birds do it all the time...
All one needs is a container, heat source, humidity, monitors and lots of sleepless hours and checking temp and humidity to keep them growing till hatch... Some birds even use a mound of mulch to put their eggs in, to hatch them. Adjusting by adding or removing mulch.
So the set up works with creativity, determination, and lots of patience... And did I mention sleepless hours..
