➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

You guys are hilarious :lau

Fancy dinner date.. dessert... Kiki I'm dying :lau

Don't know how you don't know in this age of information and/or how no one in your school has told you but then again I didn't know some stuff until middle school but let's just put it this way....

The song Cake By The Ocean is not about cake....

Also... might get in trouble with this one but... why would one need or take birth control? (Besides if you need it for hormone regulation or whatever)
So confused :hmm
Cake is cake... Right?

I know the Betta fish make me sad because of the way they keep them. Even the 'recommended' bowls for them seem too small, but what's your grief about the small animals? They seem to keep it pretty clean. Is it the size of the containers?
Honestly I haven't really paid attention. I don't use their vet or grooming services.
All the birds are always sick. I’ve never not seen a dove there that’s fluffed up and rattling, or finches with crusty eyes.

Same for the rodents. The breeding is bad and the contagious diseases are rampant. The handling is horrible too.. I once asked an associate if I could check out a rat that looked sickly. He picked it up by the tail and told me to be careful of its teeth. If looks could kill that kid would be 6ft under.

They push for terrible living conditions too. Those plastic critter keepers that come in all the fun shapes that people shove hamsters into? That’s the equivalent of putting 12 chickens in one of those pre-fabbed coops with no ventilation.

I'm still clueless. :(

Yeah the bettas are depressing. And the containers are way too small. They should really have a 5 or 10 gallon tank or at the very least a gallon or two. All those little half gallon or less things are cruel imo. Especially without a heater or filter. And a good heater that actually works. I had mine in I think a 5 gallon or at least a 2.5 but it was barren with plastic plants and a junk heater and was told the barrenness was stressing him out, plastic cuts his fins, and I needed a good heater, so I upgraded to a 10 gallon, got a good heater and tons of live plants, and he thrived, got a bunch of color again. It was awesome. They're much more enjoyable and pretty that way anyway.

She was trying to point out that kiki was talking about sex without saying it.

Even though Cy clearly knows what was being talked about, but whatever.

Exactly. Thank you. Didn't want to get in trouble lol

Not that anyone cares if you bitch about a sick hamster or a beta fish being kept in a literal cup of water.. same as whining about a chicken’s living conditions to someone who doesn’t care, which I’m sure all of us can relate to.

At least my petsmart doesn’t sell ferrets. I would lose it every time I need to buy dog food or whatever.
