➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Like everyone else, I crossed the Cream Legbars with Rose Comb Brown leghorns. I used a Legbar rooster over the Brown Leghorn hens but you can do it either way. The Rose Comb is dominant so you know right away if the offspring are carrying that trait. All of the first generation offspring will have one blue egg gene and one white egg gene. Unfortunately breeding the white egg gene back out takes a little longer.

Physically the offspring are autosexing just like legbar chicks.

Now I need some brown leghorns! :barnie
(My CL rooster is going to lose his massive comb to frostbite. I’m actually hoping he does, so I don’t have to dub it)

I stopped reading at the 10,000 amount.
There is taxes on any income.
If you are referring to state taxes I am not familiar with your state but federal...everyone is suppose to file a tax return if they have an income.
Which means there is taxes.

I thought I read somewhere that if you made under a certain amount that you didn’t have to file but I will have to look it up again and try to find where I read that. Also, read the rest of the post cause it’s funny and unrelated to that subject :p :lau

Don't read blogs.
Read the source.

If you make $400 and up you are suppose to file a federal tax return.
State returns...I don't know.

Hey @Texas Kiki
I saw that you saw my other thread about Annabelle. Have you ever seen such a thing in a duck? Her poor neck just looked all crooked! I thought for sure she was injured or had something wrong with her. Definitely made me feel better that she just likes her food and is just a little piggy! :gig
I don't visit my ducks often but I am sure if I did I would have seen at least one of them with a big neck. ;)
