Speaking of incubators....
The alarm on mine was going off like crazy yesterday. It was flashing, saying there had been a power failure. First the temp was too low to register, then it shot up to 107! I think that I've lost 3 doz babies.

Okay good idea. I figured it was probably kind of gross/unsanitary to do that, coming from the factory and all. But do you think it’s a good idea if I clean it? Or do you think I should just assume it’s accurate? Decided to put it back in and leave it this time and see if it still reads high.

Very true lol just figured since Brinsea is normally so accurate. But I will try to test it.

Thanks!! I thought so too!! So happy she is laying again and I think the Australorps are starting up again too. We’ve finally been getting lots of eggs lol I am glad she is laying again though because my other EE, while very reliable and daily layer, doesn’t lay the prettiest eggs lol they’re alright, kind of an olivey green, but I love the blue eggs.
