Corruption? In politicians? NO.
Sounds about right. Are they the sort that force you to hire the toad to remove the trees if they see them on your property?
No, they are not going after any that are on private property. Some state employees are even teaching some land owners how to propagate more of the trees since it is no longer possible to buy them.

That was the first thing I did lol well, while looking at what seeds they were :lau

But checked again when you said that and sorted by year instead of type like I did originally.

Most are 2017 and 2018 with some 2016s. Some of the 2016s though are the plastic/foil type hermetically sealed packets with moisture conditioned seeds so I wonder if those really sealed packets last longer than the normal paper ones??

And it’s funny looking at them too cause you can see what I wanted to grow that year lol last year I went crazy on lettuces, the 2017s I went crazy on herbs and tomatoes :lau and some other stuff mixed in like lots of squash, peppers, some cucumbers, melons, eggplant, etc.

But I already have tons of seeds I bought this year so idk if I am even going to grow any of it. Might just take some to our dump/transfer station and give some of it away. Or make a much bigger garden. LOL
Without being too specific what does your dad do for a living?
When I grow up I want his job.

He paid 27 dollars for two hamburgers?

Do you have any idea how many meals I can make for 27 bucks.

I pay $7 a lb for organic grass fed ground beef. I usually have 1/4 lb a serving.. but lets go with 1/2 lb . so lets say 6 servings for $21 and $6 for buns and such.... so even organic at home is way cheaper.

I am frugal and I even if I could afford it, I wouldn't.

They might be like my neighbor, who is 10 yrs older than me and still working. His bonus one year was more than my take home pay for the year, when I was working. His house/land is worth less than mine (I have more land). I have one loan almost paid off, CCs paid off every month. He has 3 loans and CCs maxed out. We both are single no kids, he is divorced for 20+ yrs. He gets a new vehicle every year or 2 and ones with all the bells and whistles. I get a new vehicle when my cousin the mechanic says get rid of it because it's getting ready to die.

That was my sentiment. Nearly $30 for fast food burgers and fat-sugar bomb shakes? That's absurd. We aren't big meat eaters, so a pound of whatever usually lasts us 5 meals, on average.

That's pretty neat. Do they propagate well from cuttings or do most folks just plant the seeds?

My kids love hamburgers so I make them sometimes. Ours more closely resemble the ones they serve at fancy restaurants and still nowhere near that price.

Yes, I definitely could have gotten it or made it way cheaper at home but we had fun going out which I think is more important. Also the burgers themselves weren’t that bad, only like 7 something and if you look more closely on the receipt I think it does show the individual prices. The milkshake and fries were what caused it to be so high. The shakes were like $4.49 each and the fries were $3.99 so that’s an extra like $13 right there. If we didn’t get those the burgers would have only been like $15. Which is still kind of a lot but not terrible. And yes I probably could have made shakes and fries cheaper at home too. But honestly everywhere is expensive now to eat out. Most places you could make the meals way cheaper at home. But it is fun to go out sometimes. Granted, I’ve been going out a lot lately, but it’s the experience. Of course it’s not cheap lol but that said, I probably could have gotten the same experience going to a healthier place ha but oh well.

But also, even McDonalds is crazy expensive and you would be spending like $30 or even $40 for 2 or 3 meals. So you may as well go to a real restaurant with better food for the same or cheaper price granted, this wasn’t a real restaurant, I mean like sit down ones, but even this was way better than McDonalds.

But I’m not really sure. I think like some environmental clean up or something. I think they clean up all these sites.

And also Panera is super expensive too so I don’t go there anymore but at least that is healthy hah

It was all delicious though and worth it! But wow 5 meals!? For us that’d only be one probably lol

But honestly it’s not that absurd when you compare with other places. McDonalds which is way grosser and not fresh food is like the same price or more and even Panera my mom and I spent like a ton there a few days ago for not much
