I would not do anything except sit there with my pompoms and cheer them on. I contribute nothing to this exercise. I am but an observer in this activity. "Mongo only pawn in game of life."

That and they are AMAZINGLY slow. I mean, 3 days from pip? OK, so you haven't hatched yet & this is your first time, but get on with it.

Besides anytime I think it would be anywhere near a passable idea, I go back and read your threads. I'm cured. I've checked and the incubator does NOT have a fast forward button. It's like Christmas everyday.

It can be fun to sit and watch, last year I spent a whole day under my house in a nightshirt, watching chicks stick there heads out from under mom after they dried.

Day 19 of incubation. Candled. Pulled 2 quail eggs.
Had some chicken eggs pretty far advanced on the drawdawn thing.

One peeped at me.

Guess that means those shadows in the others were internal pips?

A couple of the larger eggs are in question.

One peeped. Hmmm. Smaller egg. No external pip. Yet.

Try it. It is easy after you get through the withdrawals.

Find a hobby that keeps you away from the electronics. Something relaxing. Knitting? Mowing? Bowling ball cannons? Parasailing?

Hubby and I should get an award for all the turtle rescues we’ve been pulling.
I guess the dang things are all getting randy or something. The other day we moved a very sweet box turtle, and today we picked up a pissy slider that was trying to cross a walled off highway (?), only to find another one down the side street we pulled into.
Smh. Suicidal turtles.

Broody chicken hen hatched 9 chicks today.
The ducks...
Daphnie is still sitting hard on her nest.
Daisy decided to try again...has six eggs now.
And Darla took up residence in the barrel coop with ten eggs.
The incubator hatcher is pipping tonight.
Severe storms Monday...tornadoes possible.
