➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

@CrazyCrttr75 yes ducks pull feathers...mostly down...to line their nests. The clockwise turning also includes turning the eggs. If you have marked the eggs in Annabelle's nest, Xena's eggs will be easier to spot. I use a Permanent marker and draw a line around the circumference of the egg so I can spot the difference quickly.

Awww. I try to stay busy all the time I can. When I'm sitting, I have a basket of mending and darning to do while watching tv. Also shelling peas this week is a good sit down task.
Yes, a friend has two nice sweet cherry trees and I have an ornamental plum too. I do get a few tart purple/red plums off it to add to tame plums for adding color in the jelly. There is a nice sprout/offshoot tree started I will move this fall. I can graft onto it. Had success several years ago grafting pecans.

Did you get everything moved? Hope the storms aren't bad. Now begins the days of unpacking. And you will be working on water fleas at the same time. It is amazing how we can accumulate a lot of stuff we wonder why we moved it.
Not everything. We still have quite a bit at the other house, but most of the heavy stuff and important stuff was moved.

My mom just sent me these:

I have no idea why she used a knife for a ruler.
She did not cut it open she put it back outside.

And just because...he is in my face:

Train is cool so far but the only slight downside is that we accidentally sat facing the wrong way and have to sit like that the entire two and a half hours. But we’re over an hour into the ride so far and it’s not as bad as I thought it would be so maybe it doesn’t matter ha the seats are really comfy and it even has chargers and WiFi haha though I’m trying to look out the windows too. Amazing how green and wild it is even right next to houses and industrial areas lol and lots of water lol everything from swampy type stuff to some real cool rivers and ponds and some bridges. I think we’re getting to the really good scenery this second half. But I need to ride trains more often. This is great lol

Also a little while ago now, like almost an hour ago now, there was a kid on the tracks with a video camera filming the train as it went by. Felt like something out of a 90s movie lol
Road trip? What are y'all doing?

We took the train from Boston to Portland Maine LOL stayed in Boston last night so we wouldn’t have to get up early to drive an hour in lol probably more with morning traffic.
For what though? A concert?
