Please don't add salt when you use a packet of taco seasoning. You will die.

I don’t plan to! That’s why I was so confused though cause we’ve always just used the seasoning and I didn’t think if you didn’t use that and/or used fresh stuff instead that you would need salt...

I use little salt... onions, garlic or lemons add a lot

Good aromatics do add a lot. Garlic and or lemon are good on just about anything.

WAY TOO MUCH SODIUM I died reading that. If I ate that, I literally would die. Adding salt to anything premade is bad

Blackened Mahi Mahi tacos with cabbage and Conan's favorite cilantro with a creamy avocado sauce are the best. I could eat them every single day.

I wouldn’t dream of that!! That’s nasty!! Lol I don’t like salt that much.

In fact, usually lately I complain it’s too salty lol

And those sound really good in theory but in actuality I’m really picky or at least non adventurous when it comes to food and I’ve never had Mahi Mahi before so I think I’d be scared to try those tbh.

But they sound really good so I think I’d be willing haha

Adding salt is not about making something taste salty. The proper amount of salt will bring out all the flavors but will not make it taste salty.

I use fresh everything and no salt... You can cook without salt and it tastes just as good. We pretty much use salt on nothing. We add herbs or lemon to make everything taste salty with no added salt.
