Hard to screw up tater tots. Show us how they turn out.
The thing, the tray and the tots.

If you are using “taco seasoning” and hard shells then there is lots of salt in both. If you are scratch cooking (like roasting veggies and making a slaw) you need to add salt to make the flavors pop. The salt and lime also tenderize the cabbage in the slaw.

Ahh okay. That makes sense. Never thought of that before. Can you tell I don’t cook much!? :lau

We don’t usually use hard shells but do use premade taco seasoning so definitely pretty salty. I imagine making it myself would likely be a lot healthier haha

That actually does sound really good. :lau

Is it spicy?

And :lau its not! The other ingredients are weird though lol

But also, I’ve just never put salt on my tacos. Idk. The shell and the taco seasoning we add is usually already salty enough (often too much so) so I’ve just never added it.

:lau touché.

I add salt to other foods, probably too much haha I like salt. Just never added it to tacos before. Never added pepper either.

Thanks! I’ll try that! That sound really good.
Please don't add salt when you use a packet of taco seasoning. You will die.

This.
Thanks Bones.
I don't want Kdog salting her kind of tacos.

Blackened Mahi Mahi tacos with cabbage and Conan's favorite cilantro with a creamy avocado sauce are the best. I could eat them every single day.
