I opened the air cell end.
I'm not sure if that is the right or wrong end to open an egg...that is just the side I have been opened eggs on.

That's the right end to open. You never want to open the pointy end, you'll be tearing right into the inner membrane and blood vessels if you do. This baby is just malpositioned and backwards from how it should be.

What if the other two are backwards too?

If they are, they can still hatch on their own that way Just takes much longer from external pip than it normally does, since they externally pip when they normally would have internally pipped.
