➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

@aart @biophiliac @WVduckchick y'all mean when I go back to the store I have to ask them about these eggs. The don't speak English!!!. I'm not going to understand anything.

I'll try though. I'm guessing they open at 9. Sundays are big days for Vietnamese....they party after church so maybe I can spot a shopper who can translate for me.
No you don't have to...that was just my insatiable curiosity gushing questions again ;)

I'm going to try!!!!
I need to go back and look at the picture I took at the store...I'm thinking I remember seeing chicken eggs sitting right next to the duck eggs.
Do people eat balut chicken eggs too?

I just asked Google if they were open yet, they are!
Google also says this:

I don’t see why not.

Oh boy.
I'm in big big trouble.

I think I need to bring my flashlight with me to the store!
I was just going to suggest that!

I knew ppl at chicken, duck, goose eggs like that but never knew wth they called it now I know lol. I'm interested in hatching out ducks but not sure what is needed to take care of ducks.

Bet you almost dropped dead when first realized the eggs were growing lol. I do hope they hatch for you tho specially in seeing how your trying your best for them (short of a incubator) but still if you can hatch them with that set up heck who knows you might see ppl trying it on fresh hatching eggs ;).

The temps in my fake bator are not great.
I do not recommend this set up.
It's a pain in the butt having to constantly monitor the temp and raise and lower the lamp.
They eggs are still alive this morning so so far it's working. I think.
