If they are, they can still hatch on their own that way :) Just takes much longer from external pip than it normally does, since they externally pip when they normally would have internally pipped.

Shelless incubation sounds super interesting! I know nothing of such things. How, exactly, does it work?
Apparently, you crack open a fertile egg into a cup that has plastic wrap inside of it. You then tightly cover said egg with plastic wrap and leave it to incubate.
