So what are these I like em
I see. Culls from breeders aren't always "junk" it's just that only the best of the best make it. We can't keep all of them and for the backyard enthusiasts they are just fine. They may or may not have a defect here or a little short or tall but by no means second class. Enjoy what you have that's what mattersThank you. They are Ameraucauna. Neither one has a nice full pretty beard. I got them from a project breeder. I believe he was getting rid of them bc of their poor confirmation and also the coloring on the lavender is darker around the face than desired (or so I've been told). He knew I wasn't breeding them so I think that's why he gave them to me. This splash lays a beautiful sky blue egg daily though so I'm happy with her. The little black chick is an OE hatched by the lavender ameraucauna but is of no relation to any of my flock.
Still catching up but how many square feet do you think a bag of the equine wood pellets from TSC would cover? One of these. 40 lbs but it doesn't look like many pellets. Want to put it in the run for prime dustbathing (they break down) but I don't want to have to lug like 20 bags out to the car. With my luck I'd probably need that many LOL run is 6 ft by 12 ft. Maybe I could do half the run instead? 6x6?

The tester will email the test results to him.Tomorrow our birds are getting P-T tested. Then we’ll send in our paperwork to Mr. Essler (spelling is probably wrong) and get our NPIP certification!![]()
