Whaaaaat!?! What did Wasabi ever do to you?:thView attachment 1516104

Wasabi did nothing. Just saying the eyes pop out when you squeeze them. Just ask Tristan

I would argue that the beginning of college is not insanely difficult. History, English, trig, all those basics are a walk in the park. It’s when you get to organic chemistry and microbiology that sh** starts getting real, and that’s all still in community college.
I’d say if someone can’t keep up with highschool or early community college stages (at that point your study skills should be well and truly developed), it won’t go well once you get 2-3 years in, let alone vet school when the real work begins. A&M’s average (2017) vet school acceptance GPA for non-residents is a 3.87, that’s not a lot of wiggle room. It’s easier to get into human medical school.
:th
But I will agree, more than half the battle of college is just figuring out how your brain takes in information best and keeping up with motivation.
Not that I think you don’t know all that, Prairie.
It’s a marathon, not a sprint.. I’ve just seen too many friends/acquaintances set themselves up for failure by talking themselves into the “college is so easy” mentality. They don’t last.

I really believe it's easier to be a human dr than a vet. Look at all the anatomies and physiologies that are different among animals. So many different diseases, developments, pharms. All for a vet. MDs, surgeons, pediatricians... they learn humans... that is all. But when you consider the vast differences between just cats and dogs or horses and cows it really puts it into perspective. A vet has to understand all of those above mentioned areas for each species they work on. It's insane!

*starting to think about not going to college*
I understand that it is a challenge. I knew that from the beginning. But I am struggling with high school and I don't know if it's the teachers or me.

@BantyChooks - Have you watched Broadchurch? Same actor dude that has your panties all in a twist.
That's your panties that are doing weird things, not mine.
I haven't. I like his character, not him particularly. I mean, I'm sure he's a good actor, but him as the Doctor is what I find entertaining and really enjoyable to watch. He manages to represent just how unhinged the Doctor can get without bringing his morals into question. He downright scared me in The Waters of Mars.

Well, he's not an attractive man. He's great in Broadchurch. The new lady doctor is also in Broadchurch. It's a good show, but I understand. You're far too narrow minded to branch out past shows for tweens.
